Free interactive room-acoustics tool

Build a treatment plan for your studio.

Enter your room dimensions, what the room is used for, and the problems you actually hear. The planner separates acoustic treatment from sound isolation, estimates mid-frequency decay, shows likely room modes, and builds a practical starting plan.

Studio decision tool

Choose treatment by the problem — not by the product name.

A small mixing room, podcast booth and rehearsal room do not need the same treatment. This tool gives you a defensible first-pass plan and explains why each recommendation appears.

What the planner is actually calculating

RT60 direction

It uses room volume and rough surface absorption to estimate mid-frequency reverberation, then compares that with a planning target based on room use.

Room-mode warning

It calculates the first axial resonance for room length, width and height. Those frequencies help explain why low bass can be uneven even after adding thin absorption.

Treatment vs. isolation

If your problem is sound getting in or out, the tool changes direction toward seals, mass, glazing and construction instead of pretending acoustic panels will soundproof the room.

Not an engineering design: results are educational planning estimates. They do not replace on-site measurements, product test data, structural review, fire/code requirements or professional acoustic design.
